Linux/Unix Distributions

  • Run the KDevelop 5.3.1 (64bit) AppImage. Just enter the following commands in a terminal to download & start KDevelop:
    wget -O KDevelop.AppImage
    chmod +x KDevelop.AppImage

    Note: Your system libraries or preferences are not altered. In case you'd like to remove KDevelop again, simply delete the downloaded file. Learn more about AppImage here.

  • or install KDevelop from your Linux distribution
  • or build KDevelop from source

Windows portables

If you don't have administrator rights to install KDevelop on your Windows Desktop machine, you can try out our portable versions of KDevelop.

Nightly builds

Kevin Funk is maintaining a Continuous Integration system for KDevelop binaries which builds an AppImage on a nightly basis. KDE's "Binary Factory" does the same for Windows installers and macOS DMG files.
